PHOTOGRAPHY COLLECTIONS

Retrophotography and beyond.  My real name is Leighton Gunter. I am a self-taught photographer with about 5 years of experience, from a city called Perth in Western Australia. I shoot with a selection of Sony's flagship camera products such as the Sony A7RIII and the 70-200 G Master lens, among plenty of others in my bag. I am very different to the conventional photographer as I am always looking for a method to translate tangible subjects into a work of art. Case-in-point, my brand new collections titled "Paradise Calls", "Night Drive" and "Waveforms". I truly feel like I have shown my true colours in these collections. A big part of me resides in each theme.  So relax, scroll down, and breathe in the colours of Paradise Calls, Night Drive, Waveforms and Portraits.

PARADISE CALLS - RETROPHOTOGRAPHY COLLECTION

Paradise. The sky, the water, the sand. Paradise means something to everyone, no matter who you are. It can be a place, a feeling, a destination or all of the above. I found a overwhelming sense of calm when creating this collection, to me it was like capturing what I think about every day. 

Photography. I've paired my 42.4MP Sony A7RIII with the f/2.8 70-200 G Master and the f/2.8 28-75mm Tamron to achieve these exposures. I was lucky enough to shoot this entire collection from:
- Somewhere off the coast of Rottnest Island, Perth,
- The sandy shores of Turquoise Bay, Exmouth,
- A private estate in the Kalamunda Hills,
- Burswood Foreshore,
- South Perth Foreshore,
- Scarborough Beachfront.

Pallette. I created a pair of custom "Paradise Palette" gradient maps for this collection. Featuring a warm "Heatwave" gradient from pastel yellows, dark pinks and a clipped grey for the retro summer feel. Alongside is the classic "Miami Vice" gradient map showing off a calm pastel pink and darker blue & grey for contrast.

NIGHT DRIVE - CAR PHOTOGRAPHY COLLECTION

Night Drive. Night Drive is a photography collection focused on the things you experience on a late night cruise. The time of night where the accelerating speed brings an overwhelming sense of calm as neon lights rush past in your peripheral vision. Ambience, LED's and polished surfaces form a unique blend that highlight the shape and curves of exotic vehicles. 

Photography. I've paired my 42.4MP Sony A7RIII with the f/2.8 70-200 G Master and the f/2.8 28-75mm Tamron as well as a battery operated LED Light Bar to capture long exposures of neon lines behind the cars. This technique called "Lightpainting" is a favourite of mine. 

Lightpainting. Having grown up around movies and TV shows that featured badass 80's - 90's sports cars, it was only a matter of time before i'd go and hunt down some exotic beauties for a photoshoot. Wanting to push the boundaries with it a little, I stumbled across long exposure photography and fell in love with it. From there, I purchased my own LED Light Bar and started taking on professional  car shoots using the light painting technique which quickly became popular in the local car community. 

Ways to convert your traffic to sales

To make your blog an effective sales machine, integrate your product into your content in a way that doesn’t scream BUY, BUY, BUY. Here are five steps to provide relevant information and eye-candy to lure readers in and help convert blog posts to sales receipts.

Provide useful, relevant information. Show prospects how to use your product, give them instructions or how-tos, and/or entertain them.
